The 70s, Oh They Were Ugly

man...those walls were...something. You forgot to mention though how when we were bored (which was often) or just talking we often wound up picking picking picking picking at the wallpaper that had the cork and the string....the stuff was like a scab, one just couldn't leave it alone. So not only was it blindingly hideous, it was also decrepit from years of kids picking and peeling and poking at it. It was like a psychedelic stab wound.

Yes. Definitely the kind of thing you just cant stop peeling. Maybe I can blame that for my OCD-esque tendency to peel my skin off. :)

Don't forget how we also ruined the ceiling. :) Remember we put an orange in the blender thinking it would be a nice treat? And it was assy. So we flung chunks of it up onto my bedroom ceiling?

It was still there when I moved out. :)

oh. my. god. I totally forgot about that. Can you IMAGINE if we had done that in my house??? Bits of our brains would have been on the ceiling along with the orange....
