Quirky, intelligent pop

VERY deep voiced rock/folk goodness.

I'm not sure what to say about them, but Brad Roberts, the lead singer, has a GREAT deep voice. MMM MMM MMM MMM is a good song, so is Afternoons and Coffeespoons. They rock. Yep.

More Canadian bands :)

This is my friend's all time favourite band. They got some radioplay here but never got big :/

their latest release, _give yourself a hand_, is just as great as _god shuffled his feet_, which seems to be the only album mentioned yet. great lead vocalist, an eclectic range of styles and engaging lyrics. definitely worth seeking out in your local used cd store (or follow the link & buy 'em new!).

I think they're great (and really nice people too), but then, I'm biased. Oh well. Check out their albums, they all rule.

Intelligent

I must like them, I know the guy that runs their website. Seriously, a while back I just could not get into Brads voice. I dug the music, lyrics, and Ellens voice. The more I listened, the more the voice grew on me. I even saw them in Buffalo.

This band kicks butt. Each member is a essental part of the brain called Crash Test Dummies..... The lyrics, the music, Ellens voice, all music to my ears....

If I hear their music I can't get enough

but unfortunately it doesn't happen too often

I often wonder why more Fr�heads aren't into the dummies. They write great offbeat songs that really rock.
