Reviews:

not that you care:

i've heard Andy Stochansky...

and i must say he is a very talented man. He also drums for Ani... but that's something else entierly.... I don't have any albums, but a few mp3s will work wonders. He has a really individualistic sound. I *heart* him.

Mosch:

Musical odysseys that you hope don't end.

Andy creates interesting and unusual musical experiences which have to be experienced in a whole. Every detail is considered, and it shows in the final result. The musical style includes traditional and electronic instruments, combined in a manner which doesn't emphasize the juxtaposition, but makes it feel natural and right.

Kat Kunz:

his cd art won a juno award!

seriously. buy _radio fusebox_ and expect to be blown away by the *art* before you even hear the music. (which is veryvery good, btw. kind of radiohead-esque, with a gentler thom yorke.) he's got some new stuff to be recorded shortly that's *amazing*. (and he's a nice guy, to boot!)

Shawna login infrequent:

"Art as a process, not a product"

Andy is truly a twentieth century composer :) Whether he's drumming on oil cans and water bottles, or singing his sweet lungs out, this man's got talent. Thank goodness he's gotten away from the headlines: "TONIGHT ON STAGE: Ex Ani DiFranco drummer! (and in tiny letters) Andy Stochansky.

Melinda J. Beasi:

This guys rocks my world. He has the sort of albums that should always be listened to in their entirety- complete, perfect journeys. His music is full of glorious textures, beautiful melodies, and emotional text that touches your soul in places you never knew existed. Listen. You won't be sorry.

J. Andrew World:

Song writing genious taking art to the Extream

Andy Stochansky is a Genious. This Quiet introspective Creative Genious has served as many performer's drummers over the years. he has a beuitiful voice and blends his acoustic guitar quite nicely. He rocks out and has a bizare sound that is one part Beatles, one part sci-fi world Beat, and one part Sting!

Threw 1998 and 1999 I kepted hearing about Andy Stochansky and finally checked him out on mp3.com and fell inlove with his music. I kepted trying to see him and I finally did durring his 3 Song Circus tour with Erin McKeown and Jian Ghomeshi. His performance really impressed me. Too bad he couldn't remeber my name!

angelmusicmaven:
