Dream Theater is a band that continues to evolve, and their latest album continues that trend. You can hear hints of their past with every new release, but there is always something new and different to enjoy.

Dream Theater hasn't stopped amazing me since the early 90's. Their new album is no exception and I am having a hard time removing it from my player. Some of the music doesn't grip me quite as much as the grippedness of Six Degrees did, but the entire album is still an incredibly good listen (and will probably be equally as good for working out (: )

Rock on DT peeps!!!

It's 69 minutes of balls-to-the-wall metal, just a short 2 minute break. Just flat out rocks, and is their tribute to 80s metal. John Myung is in the mix again, James LaBrie is staying in the mid-range that he is best at, and the drums AREN'T quite so prominent which is actually a good thing. It's a dangerous album to drive to. :)
