When Rod released his first album, Tiger Tom Dixon's Blues I was dissappointed because my favorite songs of his weren't on it. He was saving them for Stray Dogs. Angels and Acrobats And I coulda been the King are actually upbeat Rod songs, a rarity. The greatest strength is the songwriting, Rod reaches the deep recesses of your heart.
