that's true, but i had short stories due and that sort of defeats the purpose of a novel. unless i was writing the meta novel about a writer of short erotica.

next year, though, porn, sure, why not? :)

how 'bout the "not only did i not make it to the 50,000 word mark - in addition to not even thinking about starting it - but i actually had words taken away from me" option?
