The Kennedys on Sirius - "Dharma Cafe" Show

The Kennedys start their new show, "Dharma Cafe" on Sirius Satellite Radio this Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM (Eastern). It's on FolkTown, Stream 38.

I always thought they should have a radio show. I've talked to them about it. Too bad it is a folk show. I'd love it if they could just play what they want, imagine following Dave and Tracy with the Sex Pistols.

There should be something in the middle... I can't think of a Sex Pistols track that would flow from a Dave and Tracy cut.� Maybe if�they put "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" by the Ramones in the middle... that would work out better.

They do have a lot of leeway in what they can play. It's their show. Trust me, many things are played on FolkTown that generally aren't considered Folk Music. Monty Python's Protest Song got played once.

But the real channel for that on Sirius is Sirius Disorder, a much more free form stream.
