I saw the trailer in the theatre and liked it.

It looks good. I mean, I read the book a guess 2 years or so ago. It was ok. it wasn't my favorite book ever, but I liked it. The movie looks really good, bu tI can't compare it to the book really, cause I hardly remember anything. I remember the computer said the meaning of life or something was 32. I think I'll see it. Which is big for me. I don't see movies often.

It helps that no two incarnations of HHGTTG have been the same. It's pretty hard to look at it and say "well, that doesn't follow the book". From the trailer, I think Ford might work better than I expected. I'm also one of the few people I know who doesn't hate Marvin. He looks like he was designed by Apple, and Douglas Adams would have wanted that way. The "Two" heads, I'm not as fond of. Not counting that, Zaphod looks pretty good. It seems like they're pushing out the Arthur/Trillian thing. It happens in the books, and could work, but I do worry that might be a big part of the movie.

But Zaphod had only one head.

Other than that, I can't wait.

At least it wasn't directed by the fucker who gave Batman nipples. The man whose name I refuse to utter. The man who ruined Phantom.

But seriously. I can't wait.

EDIT: I'm blind. Zaphod does have the second head. And he seems perfect. And holy crap, I can't wait.

Oh man, now I'm excited about this movie officially. When I heard they were going ahead with it after Mr. Adams died, I was very apprehensive. I mean, it's so veryvery easy for something like this to be severely messed up by Hollywood poopheads. Then I recently heard that Alan Rickman is playing Marvin and he is made of awesome. And now I am officially happy. But I agree about the two heads thing. WHAT'S THAT?!

'Course, I look at the site and see nothing about Alan Rickman, making me think that Heidi led me astray.� But it still looks pretty cool.

I thought Warwick Davis played Marvin.
