BOSTON ZAPPA FANS!!!

Tonight at the Middle East Club in Cambridge (although I bet you knew that already) Project Object is playing! Who the HELL is Project Object? Project Object is a Frank Zappa tribute band, featuring Ike Willis and Napoleon Murphy Brock, both of authentic Zappa fame. For what it's worth to anyone, Ike Willis was the singer on many a fine Zappa tune. For example: JOE FROM JOE'S GARAGE! Doreen, and uhh, a bunch of others, too. Napoleon Murphy Brock is a smooth sax player with a voice that makes you want to drink a glass of water. He also sings on the infamous Village Of The Sun, as well as the supersexy parts of Montana. I'm aware they've both done more, but that's not terribly important. DOORS AT 8, PROJECT OBJECT ~9:30 TIX ARE $17, 18+ SHOW. YES!

I've only seen these guys once, back in '96. They weren't all that great then, but they're SPECTACULAR now. Napoleon Murphy Brock still kicks the ass of every performer half his age COMBINED. Also, the band allows video and audio taping, so a document of the show is probably already on its way to your favorite BitTorrent site.
