What were you doing when the clock struck 12 on NYE?

Discussion: What were you doing when the clock struck 12 on NYE?

Raise your hand if you knew what I was doing. What I do almost every year. I watched Doctor Who. The only difference was this year it was a new one I hadn't seen and it was on DVD not VHS.

Standing in Times Square (okay, not really, at Broadway and 49th) for seven and a half hours along with 999,999 other morons, some of which were there longer than I had been, going, "Just get it over with, but never EVER again."

Once in a lifetime, folks. And this I mean wholeheartedly.

Hee hee...I've never gone to Times Square for New Year's and every year on New Year's I say I'll never go anywhere near Times Square on New Year's. ;) Watching the craziness on TV is enough excitement for me.

Oh yeah, what I -was- doing was partying at a friend's house in Toronto with Pauley. :)

Melinda and I watched Great Performances on PBS with Garrison Keillor in Nashville as we sipped Moet & Chandon. It was great. :)

I went to see a movie that started in one year and ended in the next, by myself. Carlos is in Guatemala for the holidays :( Maybe this will be better than the last.

I was *mild drug reference* (The reference isn't mild, the drug is, blah blah blah).

Happy New Year, ya buncha freaks + everyone not named Gordon

I was at my cousin's wedding (and worrying about my mom - long story) and dancing to Prince's '1999'.

I was in Brooklyn at my best friend's NYE Party.

So far this trip to NYC, I've stayed in Hoboken and Queens, partied in Montclair and Brooklyn, and visited folks in Manhattan. And Thursday I'll be visiting folks in Riverdale. Just missing one borough. Anyone in Staten Island want a visitor?

I was taking a break from contra dancing in New Jersey after an AMAZING contra medley to toast the New Year with Martinell's.

I was helping my mom put away Christmas decorations while everyone else I know was probably partying. We barely noticed the clock tick over. I'm praying 2007 is a better year.

I watched Later with Jools Holland with tea and toast. I raised my mug at new yea to toast the (prerecorded) partying revellers on screen. It was grand.
