Does anyone know who wrote "Twist and Shout?"

Medley and Russell!

OMG, the only other person I ever met that knew that was Pete Kennedy and he knows everything about music.

you need to have an option for "I don't really like the beatles". Sorry to say it, but I'm not the only one. :)

I believe there is an option: just don't vote.

but that takes all the fun out of polls! :(

And voting "I don't really like the Beatles" in every single one of however many polls it's going to take to finish this tournament would be fun? Sounds rather monotonous.

The other thing is even if don't like the Beatles (I have to keep repeating "de gustibus non disputandum" to myself) that doesn't mean you like every Beatles song equally. The odds are really pretty much against that. Of course on some of the TMBG polls I didn't know any of the songs and I picked the one whose title I liked best.

Isn't that kind of like voting for a presidential candidate because you like his hair?

Only if the song I voted for invades Iraq. Anyway I knew no song from those polls was going to get anywhere anyway.

Not really. 1) A song title tells you more about the song than a candidate's hair tells you about his/her qualifications. 2) The office of President is slightly more influential than the title of "FHDC's Favorite TMBG Song."

That'd debatable. ;)
