The last poll ended in a tie. Why does The Boxer automatically "win"?

Seconded! Maybe if enough America-lovers protest we can overturn the decision!

I seem to remember one of the rules was that in the event of a tie the higher seeded song wins.

If we ran this entire voting again, especially with different initial groupings we'd get very different results. Does anyone who voted feel that either the Boxer or Bohemian Rhapsody are candidates for the two greatest songs ever? I love them both but greatest songs? Neither would be on my top 20.

That would be okay if it weren't the fact that it was a semi-final.

Either way, I would have voted for Bohemian Rhapsody. That song IS one of the greatest songs ever, IMO. It's a slight at the music industry and an amazing song in general.

If "America" had made it here, it would be a clear winner for me. Now I'm not so sure.

I voted for "The Boxer" anyway... I would have preferred America though.  Not that there's anything wrong with Queen.  I don't know if I would have picked Bohemian Rhapsody as their best song either, though.
