mystery white boy

Truly angelic. Beautiful songs. Every track is amazing.

mickey:

jeff buckley is grace.

like so many beautiful music geniuses, jeff was cut down in his prime. his talent has been carefully preserved in his musical releases. the single best falsetto i've ever heard, and a voice steeped in passion. yes.

Rachel Beck:

Grace is one of the best albums I was introduced to in college. He had such a flexible, versatile, gorgeous voice. He had really good taste in (and treatment of) covers, too. Both Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and Benjamin Britten's "Corpus Christi Carol" are not just performed on Grace, they're transformed. And I think they're better music yet for being sung by him.

guitar, rock, one-of-a-kind

ok, lets be serious. if jeff buckley hadn't died so young, we wouldnt be hearing boy bands on the radio. he's melodic and harsh and magical and real. "grace" is one of the best cds i own. you MUST own it to even consider yourself a fan of music.

elizabeth:

one of my very favorites

'Grace' is probably THE best album ever..

Melinda J. Beasi:

dark and glorious beauty

Every once in a while I ponder what this man might have been capable of had he not been taken from us so soon. His songs were made of delicate poetry, painfully beautiful melody, and a kind of true humanity that is rare these days in music, or anywhere else. His voice was the most exquisite since his father's. His album, "Grace" has been and always will be an inspiration to me. Thank you, Jeff Buckley, for having existed at all.

angelmusicmaven:

Beauiful range, beautiful looks, inspired a LOT of wonderful young contemporary songwriters-- his music still does. Wish I could have met him more than once, he was funny too!

Samantha:

Jeff Buckley is one of my FAVORITE musicians of all time. I can't even begin to explain the impact "Grace" had on me. I have to listen to it all the time. The lyrics are beyond, the music is obscenely great, and the emotion Jeff pours into each and every note is breathtaking. He will seriously be missed.
