Reviews:

Josh Woodward:

Beautiful folk music, with an old-style jazz feel.

Susan is one of the most captivating live performers I've ever seen. Not only is she a great guitarist and singer, she can pump out standards (old and new) on the piano with the best of 'em.

Andrea Krause:

A goddess of folk with a wit as razor sharp as her musical skills.

Susan Werner is one of the most amazing musicians I have ever seen or heard. She matches astounding vocals with covers, *exceptional* original songs, great guitar playing, and a knack with the piano that makes it seem like it's an extension of her body. If you see Susan live, she will wrap you around her finger with her sweet appeal and gut-bustingly funny onstage chatter. She took the stage with Fruvous and kept up with them without a problem. *This woman will blow you away.*

K-Lyn:

When they make the movie of my life...

I hope they get Susan Werner to do the soundtrack. Serious, witty, emotional, saracastic, you name it...

Kat Kunz:

why doesn't susie have more recommendations than this???

she's incredible! a very talented multi- instrumentalist with a voice like warm honey, i'd have to say she's one of the most talented solo artists anywhere. and darn funny live, too--a one- woman fruvous, if you will. *grin* _time between trains_ is an excellent place for newbies to start.

Simona:

I can't Wait till Ms. Werner releases a new album

I only heard Susan Werner about a year ago on Follow that Road and have been totally enamored with her music ever since. She has a beautiful voice and plays the guitar and piano skillfully. ANd her lyrics are thoughtful, insightful and personal. Like nothing else out there. ~ Simona L. [email protected]

Katherine, comedy junkie:

gorgeous, expressive voice & great stage presence

Wow...I wish I could sing like that. She can make you laugh or cry. I should be able to say more; though I'm not being very coherent, I wanted to make sure she got more recommendations.

ellen, formerly evil:

A girl after my own heart
Susan Werner speaks my language :) Anyone that can make me cry at falconridge deserves major kudos... deep n poingnant stuff... jah...

Caleb:

I first saw Sue live at McCabes guitars in Santa Monica(an excellent venue, by the by) and she was so giving of herself, so free with her music, and so real in intent that I had to buy all her CD's... as good in concert as M, M, J, and D, which is really saying something
