but i do know what i like. and i like the foo fighters. i think we all have heard of them. but i thought i'd add em in here, cos well... isn't that the point? DAVE GROHL FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

the foo

The foo are always good to hear, they also have some of the best songs that they play on the radio (it might just be radio here but anyway) Dave Grohl is hot! And they are cool!

i like the foo fighters. i'm not very knowledgeable about them, nor do i own any albums, but i've had the new one played for me a couple times & i like what i've heard an awful lot. "breakout" (also on the HIGHLY recommended _me, myself & irene_ sndtk) and "learning to fly" are way catchy & lots of fun. i'd vote for dave grohl.

impressive rock

"the colour and the shape" is by far the best collection of all things foo [at least by me]. all the songs on it rock. amazing. and dave grohl, is just, the ultimate

Foo Fighters...the freshmaker

Foo Fighters are really good. I love their videos, and their music. I don't own an album...yet... Nice songs that can really get stuck in your head.

They don't take themselves too seriously

And I always like that quality in a band. Fun songs. Fun lyrics. Fun videos!

you all know the history of the Foo Fighters... " the band that Nirvana's drummer started after Kurt killed himself." Dave Grohl has proven far & wide that he is not just profiting off the end of the Seattle Scene, rather he has become the force of a totally new group which makes astounding music. He's also a huge fan of the X-Files. The Foo Fighters have contributed to both XF soundtracks... and Dave has appeared in as an extra in the "Pusher" episode. how can you not like that?

Rock that hasn't sold out

Dave Grohl is an impressive musician. The Foo Fighters have changed and evolved, basically the only constant is Dave. Hrmmm, maybe there's something to being named Dave and being a great musician? ;)

sarah has it right, DAVE GROHL FOR PRESIDENT!!! i laugh so hard when i see that guy in an interview. he's so funny. foo fighters definitely rock. they have good music and funny videos. but, don't throw mentos at them, they leave welts.

Great stuff. And Dave is funny, just watch his appearances on the Late Late Show...and see them cover, or try to cover songs.
