Reviews:

bee:

while visiting suny geneseo recently, i made a special trip into rochester just to pick up the snmnmnm cd. i love it. they play a tuba! you can't get dorkier then that!

Maggie Deegan:

frvous on ska!

as sarah said, this is pure geekrock. hints of jazz blended with unadulterated dork. fantastical. check out their self-titled cd on funslide records.

not that you care:

way to go maggie.

why is this seperate from my review... if you could call it that? well, we REALLY like SNMNMNM, just THAT much... did i mention they're in the midst of recording their 2nd CD? keep yer eyes peeled!

Chaya Papaya:

i'm a crazy person!

i've only heard them once...but i was quite impressed with they're mockery of other music!!

Emy and her umbrella:

good geeky guacomole!

i find this to be good stuff... sssspecially rooftop and New Mexico!

Justin Jeanfreau:

funk-e

i'm just gettin hooked on these guys. but if you like frvous, you really should @least give them a try

J. Andrew World:

What good drugs can do to the Youth of America

They probally not on drugs...Nor are they dropped on their head as a child, yet, they are disturbed and *VERY* amusing!

They sing about Zombies and alien Abductions. Bad sci-fi set to ska with acordian and Tuba rocks my world!

Shane Horn:

100% PURE GEEK ROCK x 20

I fell in love with these guys after accidentally coming across them looking for moxy fruvous mp3's (they had fruvous listed as an influence). My life has yet to be the same. They are actually my favourite current band (excluding the beatles and/or phish, both of whom are a constant...). Take ben folds 5 harmonies, replace your bass player with a f*cking TUBA! (you've not lived until you've heard "slap funk tuba"), plug in an accordian, drums, and guitar, add limitless talent and unbelievable covers, and you have the greatest nerd rock band of all time. Trust me on this. Have i lied to you yet??

Tom Fazzio:

Rollerblading Crackheads on Fire!

With a song like that, how can you go wrong? And what about the ska-like "My Heart Will Go On"...
