Influential Rock

Reviews:

Mike "Racer" Yoshioka:

Influential Rock

Another classic band that continues to innovate. Pink Floyd puts out albums that you just have to listen right through.

K-Lyn:

They continue to influence every generation. Ignore the dysfunction and come on in!

Mosch:

Classic music that still sounds fresh

If I'd never heard it before, I could easily believe that their later works were just released last week. The early Pink Floyd tends to be exceedingly experimental (Ummagumma and Saucerful of Secrets especially) but from 1971 on, they released incredible album after incredible album. Save yourself time, and buy Shine On, the boxed set. It seems expensive now, but you'll buy all the albums later anyway.

Steph Strenger:

A brick in the wall of rock influences

These guys have to be geniuses, or at least close to it. I was introduced to The Wall recently, but I've fallen in love. I must get other albums, and so must you. Listen to Kevin.

bee:

i 2 albums on my incredibly long list of favourites have to be the wall and dark side of the moon. there is something hypnotic about pink floyd that makes you have to listen to them over and over again.

danced with Lazlo:

Simply Amazin'

I love Pink Floyd.

Pacho:

Turn the lights low, sit back and play the Wall. Err, highly recommended.
