alterna-rock with edgy lyrics and just plain fascinating music.

some of it is outright rocking, some is eerily beautiful, but all of it is great. radiohead is simply an amazing band, fronted by thom yorke (whose voice is indescribable. there's just nothing like it). check out OK Computer, their concept album on technology. it won't leave your cd player for weeks.

elizabeth:

awesome

radiohead is awesome. i got ok computer first and then the bends.. I'd recommend OK Computer first. and I can't wait for the new album!

Kerri Chyka:

chillingly flawless

My my. What to say about Radiohead. "Lucky" on OK Computer is my fav by them, but I am convinced that they can only write so damn perfect stuff. It's music that soundtracks your every day life in a very strange way.

true artists

ok computer goes up on the very elite list of CDs which almost found a perminant spot in my CD player (also on that list is Alice In Chain's Dirt). They are muscians of the highest order who's sound might be hard to describe or fully take in on only one listen. Dark, brooding, incredible. I don't think I can say enough good stuff.. many people can be muscians, very few artists - enter Radiohead. ... pull me out of the air crash, pull me out of the lake ...

Shelly Haefele:

Such variety...

Radiohead can meet my needs for almost any mood... they're one of only a few bands that I became obsessed with. I've got a poster, and OK Computer... I asked for more cds for Christmas but wasn't given any. So maybe it doesn't sound like I'm obsessed... just trust me. ;) Their lyrics could make some great poetry. They have this unique sound that no other band could duplicate. When I first got OK Computer, I swear it was in my cd player for at least 4 months straight. I sang daily with Thom... it made my day a little brighter. ;)

quinn with glitter socks:

i love these guys. as soon as i have some money, i'm sure ok computer will be one of my favorite cds.

Mosch:

musical soundscapes and incredible lyrics

radiohead has an amazing ability to tell stories, create scenes and evoke emotion. The lyrics tend to be dark but not scary (with the exception of climbing up the walls, which is rather disturbing, though beautiful) and the music is wonderful. I can't describe how much I like them other than to note that I own about 30 or 40 of their CDs, when you include EPs and singles. I just can't get enough.

bee:

3 cheers for radiohead

ok, computer will never ever ever leave your CD player. it will live there forever! radiohead is amazing! they are brit-rock-tacular!!!!

John J. Ryan:

One of the few modern rock bands that does it right.

With the release of the (should be) double album Kid A and Amnesiac, they totally said f**k you to all everyone who pinned them down as a rock band. They're doing what they want, and I love what I'm hearing. At first listen of Kid A, I couldn't even tell if it was them, but the experience my mindblowing. I couldn't listen to it in the dark. I wish there were more bands like these guys, stupendous.

Bruce Rose:

I F&$king HATE Radiohead!
