Why is it that Canada get's all the cool stuff? Fruvous, Kids in the Hall, BNL, Rush, bacon.. not fair.

Lightning Rod:

Canada's Progressive Rock Trio

I'm with Ray! True! Canada has it all! Rush? What can I say? Thay have more Albums than fingers and toes! I love the cover art on Fly by Night! I've been trying to get a poster forever of that! Geddy Lee Sings Leads, and Plays bass (yeah so does Sting, but this is way better!) Also plays bass chords with organ pedals by his feet! There is Alex the Guitar Player! who is amazing, but you have to laugh if you've ever seen him dancing live! And Niel their Drummer? wow! Has several drum kits that revolve around him in live shows! (trivia! Geddy's real name is Gary, but when his Hungarian Grandmother would call him, it would sound like Geddy, so he kept it!) He has a solo album coming out soon , he's recording in Vancouver now I think! Fave songs are Trees, Nobody's Hero... oh I could go on... but see for yourself!

Canadian guitar rock... nuff said

Canadian... guitars... bass from hell... and a voice more tolerable than Neil Young's. ^_^

Starfox:

They are Canadian, not given alot of mainstream play, have some very thought provoking lyrics, and their fan base tends to be pretty high-brow.

Remind you of another band?

These guys are simply the best of the best.

Geoff:

None better. Though Frvous can be more fun.

angelmusicmaven:

Great group to see in a big arena... and I don't say that very often... tight, great performers.
