Beautiful flowing folk

Our very own Melinda Klump is very good. :-) She has some MP3s up on MP3.com, make sure you check them out. It's really nice stuff.

I only wish there was more...

I'm fairly addicted to Melinda's music at the moment... her voice is absolutely captivating. Very mellow, very beautiful. Go check her out!

Jan Klump:

I'm her mom. Of course, she is MY favorite. I can mention the lovely cello line. The cellist isn't related to me.

Maggie Deegan:

my Minda!

i was lucky enough to have been given an advance copy of Melinda's album, Dorrie's True Story. wow. if you want to take some speed and dance all not, this isn't for you. :) very mellow, very relaxing. I Don't Think You Know is a bit more upbeat; it's got a great groove. Melinda is enchanting, i love her dearly (in many many ways). and yes Andy, the Eyeball Man *is* adorable.

Andrea Krause:

Slow, sad, poignant folky songs. Gorgeous voice.

Let's pretend for a moment that I don't love Melinda oodles. I truly do think she is a wonderful musician. I too have her album and I think it is really excellent. And I agree with Jan, the cello is also quite lovely. :) Someday I hope to see Miss Klump live. :)

J. Andrew World:

Folk music of an epic proportion

Dispite the moving music which carries you away in her stories, the lyrics are raw and poiniant, and they carry you away in her world. Her music makes me want to laugh and cry! Plus the Eyeball man is really cute!

Mike "Racer" Yoshioka:

Such incredible vocals.

Very impressive. Beautiful soulful lyrics and an amazing voice. And she's really nice too :) An added bonus ;)

What else can I add that hasn't already been stated? I've found myself singing along to Melinda's songs in my head countless times, even when I haven't listened to the album for awhile. The music and lyrics are captivating, and words can't even begin to describe the beauty of her voice.
