if you don't know the indigo girls you should shoot yourself

great two part harmonies.. intelligent lyrics, catchy tunes.. nuff said.

mickey:

quintessential road music.

and considering that i traveled at least 30,000 miles last year, you should believe me. dammit.

Lauren Teson:

Harmonies that make you want to burst out in song!

Campfire type harmonies...definitely singalong music! Makes me appreciate being an alto!

Daancing Queen:

Wonderful folk duo...

Beautiful harmonies. Great songs to sing along to. There isn't a song by them that I don't like. I don't know how to add a link to the above, but they're homepage is: http://www.indigogirls.com/ for those who are interested.

danced with Lazlo:

Can't help singin'

You wouldn't think you could get such a beautiful rich sound from only two voices, but these babes do it beautifully. No road trip should be free of indigo.

K-Lyn:

A friend once described them as harmony- whores...but it was in a good way. Their harmonies really do feel good to the soul!

beth-pseudocanuck!:

my goddesses. they defined my teenage years. amazing in concert. their new album, _become you_ is arguably their best work ever! GO GET IT!

goovie is married!:

as everyone else has said...

great harmonies!! Very fun to sing along to; the only problem is picking one part and sticking with it thru a song :)

Bruce Rose:

I started with "Closer To Fine" and was completely taken by "Love's Recovery" (Thanks, Anne!). Now, I buy their albums whether I listen to them or not.
