wild bill:

much better than most of the bands listed here

self absorbed hate rock.. with great lyrics and harmonies. The ultimate in self deprication unless you want to go with the cure or smiths, but far less whiney than morrissey.

Taylor nelsoN:

Gosh, I miss these guys....

Well, no more homepage, but they used to be based in Santa Monica, CA...from what I recall. Toad is just....well, beautiful! The CD _fear_ was my first exposure to them...I'm sure we all remember "Walk on the Ocean"....that whole CD (and _dulcinea_ after that) are just wonderful mood pieces.

Andrea Krause:

A better band than most might expect...really excellent songs

I love this band! I think they had some really amazing songs. I'm very glad I got to see them live once. They put on a great show! Pray Your Gods remains one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs I know.

Mike "Racer" Yoshioka:

Another band I've never seen live

Do you continue to feel sorry for me? I thought not ;) Anyways, I have an acoustic album of theirs that wasn't sold in stores, it was a giveaway type thing. Now aren't you jealous? I thought so ;)

Kat Kunz:

glossy radio pop... with more depth than i originally gave them credit for.

i liked the radio singles these guys had, but dismissed the thought of ever purchasing an album b/c i viewed it as all fluff. after picking up the EP _acoustic dance party_ on a recommendation by a friend (is this what you were talking about, mike? i got it on CDNOW...), though, i REALLY liked what i heard. very introspective music, but also very good.

Eric Carlsen:

Excellent introspective/inspirational rock

Well they are my favorite band... but seriously, excellent songwriting with deep lyrical meaning. Much more depth than their few radio hits. Incapable of writing a bad song! These guys will grow on you...

Will work for anime:

These guys are just that good!!

I once heard "I Will Not Take These Things For Granted" from their album Fear when i was 12, at summer camp, and it has since come to mean a great deal to me (other than the way that i live by it...or at least try to)...these guys have a way with lyrics and harmonies that are both reflective and inspirational!!! Go listen to Fear!! Now!!

frukid:

I always liked this band....

I like this band for a few reasons...mainly that they wrote good songs. Walk on the ocean and Fall Down are pretty cool. So..CHECK EM OUT!
