Reviews:

Sara Woodward:

The music is wonderful and the visuals are incredible. Yes, it is probably a 'kids' movie, but the technical aspects made me love it!

Josh Woodward:

It's pretty good despite being a bit hokey. :-) The animation is truly incredible, and the music kicks ass.

Ligeia Lester:

I didnt really think it was much of a kid's movie. the humor was pretty damn "adult" if you ask me. Which may be the reason I loved it so much. ...entirely predictable, but fun nonetheless.

Michael (foof) Maki:

I saw this one, and honestly couldn't tell what all the fuss was about. Yeah, computer graphics have come a long way. Yeah, there are all the jabs at Disney. But, I thought the story was utterly predictable and most of all, boring.

Mollie:

This movie is a lot of feel-good fun. And funny, too.

goovie is married!:

OK, so I'm a total sap, but this movie makes me cry every time. That scene where "Hallelujiah" is playing...the ending...dear God. And of course, there's so much fun as well: the Du Lac song, ogres and onions having layers, Robin Hood, the princess's duet with the bird, "And in the morning, I'm making WAFFLES!" It definitely deserved all the hype it got.

Rob Balder:

The finest criticism of Disney ever committed to film, and also the best all-CGI project made so far. I am rounding my 9.5 upward to a 10.

Starfox:

It's a girl!:

I've said it before and I'll say it again, any movie that has fairy tale characters rocking out to "I'm A Believer" kicks ass. I think Eddie Murphy pretty much stole the film and I don't even really like him! But how can you resist "and in the mornin' I'm makin' WAFFLES!"?

Jºnªthªn:

This movie did nothing for me. It was too self-concious. Some of the animation was nice, but the performances of Myers and Murphy were on the annoying side, and the storyline was predictable.

jaye:

. . and that's generous. Sure, huzzah for animation and all. But the quote unquote skewering of Disney? *yawn*

WalkingContradiction:

This movie is so cool. Who cares if it's slightly predictable. I totally believe that it can be either a kids movie or an adult movie. Different people can interpret it on different levels.

Jillian Bird:

i think this movies is a kids movie and a grown up movie running next to each other. it's just a question of what you're looking for
