I've never seen anything that captured adolescence so well. Painful to watch, but so, so worth it.

This movie is so right on. It's so brave and so honest...and so painful to watch!

Again, Todd Solondz all the way. Some people find his work disturbing or uncomfortable to watch. I totally understand that point of view, and yet there's this irresistible dark humour in there. Watch this, especially for the scenes where Brendan Sexton threatens to rape the main character. Priceless.

this is one of the best movies ever made.. and not just because Eric Mabius is teh seks... ... I nearly cried watching this for the first time because I can *so* see myself in too many of those positions.. *shakes head*
