Gordondon son of Ethelred:

<a href ="http:/ Dawn of the Dead: George Romeros on target sequel to Night of the Living Dead The dead are now in control of most of the world and a group of survivors use a shopping mall as a refuse. While lacking the grittiness of the original it still packs a wallop. The mall setting provides plenty of gist for Romeros commentary on consumerism. Warning, this film is not for the squeamish, it is extremely gory and violent.

J. Andrew World:

Sence I was a small child I had a dream and a nightmare. The dream was to live in a shopping mall and the nightmare of the living dead walking and there is no way to stop them.

This movie embrases them both, compleate with bad dailoge, gory special effects and pointless violence.

Plus it's the one movie in this genre where the black guy *DOESN'T* die!

hkath:

By far the best of his trilogy. Where "Night" lacks gore, "Dawn" has plenty, and where "Day" delves too far into post-zombie societal structures, "Dawn" presents a microcosm of society in its four lead characters. I'm a huge zombie fan, and this is by far my favourite zombie movie.

Also, does the black guy die in "Night of the Living Dead?" I got so bored I turned it off, but I was sad I never got to find out what happened to him. He was the only good character. Anyway.

*smooches* to Dawn Of The Dead.

Doktor Pepski, kommie:

a goreful satire of society, it isn't afraid to add moments of self-depricating humor(Yes, zombies can eat you, but can they withsatnd...a pie fight?). and still manages to have the creeping fear throughout.
