A very interesting turn of direction for Mr. Mulvey. Much more rooted in traditional Western swing and classic tinpan alley this time around. And it works. But anything he does works, and I'd much rather see him breaking ground than just digging up the corpses of an age that died already.

There were definitely some really good tracks on this CD and some neat stylistic notes for some of the songs, but for whatever reason, it just did not hook me as much as Peter's previous albums.
