what would the point be, really? what functionality would it provide, access to multiple simultaneous profiles? a way to protect your diary entries or profile?

(oh and boobiesfirst post)

Dude,

I don't remeber your posts being this funny, the last few I read has cracked me up.

I would if I didn't already have access to LiveJournal... which is now accessible to anyone. I can friend any fruhead I want who has a livejournal. And if they don't have one, then they probably wouldn't be using their FHDC friends list either.

Thanks to Nate for this idea. It's not really up my alley, but I figured it might be interesting. The one thing I think I'd be interested in it for is to have a list of recent discussion posts from your friends. I guess I could do that using frequent contacts, too, but if a separate friends list would be better, I'll probably go that route. Doesn't look like there's much call for it based on early voting, though. Let me know if you have any other ideas for it (or anything else for that matter).

This may already exist, but maybe we could have FHDC diaries put out a feed LJ can get, and FHDC can get LJ's feeds as well :)

the two become one! end journal separatism now!! *marches*

:D

is to have a list of recent discussion posts from your friends.

ooooh. I'd love to have this feature!
nate... Back · 20 years, 7 months ago
See, I thought it might be fun...
Especially if it was something like the way friendster does it, where when you're talking to someone, it shows you how many "hops" away from them you are.

:)

But yeah, I'm a geek, so I like stuff like that.

nate... Back · 20 years, 7 months ago
Actually, yeah, I have feeds set up for FHDC journals on LJ ... but.... not vice versa.

But, that works for me, since I'm always on LJ.

Then someone could buy FHDCdrama.org like LJdrama.org

;)

wait, no one's done that already?
Josh Woodward Back · 20 years, 7 months ago
You can feed from either direction, I think. FHDC diaries support RSS feeds, available from urls like this:

http://www.fruhead.com/mod/diary/syndicate.php?username=joshw

And you can read LJ from here using the RSS aggregator here, which is what I do. :)
