SEX!

(music sex food)
bored, bored, bored.... · 21 years, 6 months ago
Music + Food = Sex
Gordondon son of Ethelred · 21 years, 6 months ago
I'm sorry but the last choice is inherantly wrong, it is impossible for x>x. On all the choices there should have been greater than or equal too. Of course I can't figure out to to make the symbol on HTML

I hope everyone realizes I'm just kidding.
It's a girl! · 21 years, 6 months ago
Doesn't the equation vary depending on your mood? I mean, I voted for "food>sex>music" but I think that's just cos I'm hungry right now. It changes constantly.
jaye Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
unless you're jaci. then music + food = broke

Music > Sex > Food > Pete Best, you insensitive clod!
:)
Bareena · 21 years, 6 months ago
Do people actually think that music is more important or better than food, which is more important or better than sex? Or is there a pretty big misconception about what the ">" symbol means?
Mamalissa! Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
I think the point is that everyone has a different understanding of ">" - whether someone is ranking based on importance, pleasure, or desire, or anything else.

I was thinking of it this way: how far out of my way would I go for great music? How about great food? Or great sex? Whatever "great" means is specific to each thing. This way, I can compare the three in a thoughtful if not-so-serious way.
Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
At my market research job I used ">" once and had to get rid of it because my boss didn't know what it meant.
goovie is married! Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
why am i not surprised?
Agent Scully Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
I never see it on IE but I can see it on Netscape. :(
Adam Hartfield · 21 years, 6 months ago
And here I was, thinking that the > was to indicate a linear progression, not a greater than. *sigh*
Bel kjfdxcvuyjh8 Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
Yeah, that's what I thought too. I never realized it was a "greater than"...
Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
yeah...we *think* it's somthing to do with the fact that I have a "" in my user name. It seems to mess up lots of things on my profile (mostly pics)
but I just live with it...
I heard it works on other browsers too...
on another note!
(I never have been first post before! wahooo)

renita Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
it's all right though--because it ends up meaning the same thing anyway... which is more important... from left to right.

by the by.. where's the ...

Fod>Food>Food option? you insensitive clod!
Annika Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
I really think music is more important than sex which is more important than food. If you don't, I think you need to get your priorities straight girly. :^P
Annika Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
Do you people really have nothing better to do with your time than work out what the definition of > is? Because I don't, and it's obvious to me that > Is greater than <Is less than. 10>8 8<10
jaye Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
yeah, it shows up in mozilla :)
sheryls Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
yeah, i'm with renita on that one. food>food>food :D

i saw it as a priority list with the best being at the beginning. so naturally i went food>music>sex :D
jaye Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
well, yeah. if we're ranking it on pure human need or something really basic, then there's no point to a poll. and what people -do- rank it on is where the comments and conversation come in.

i thought about it essentially like melissa did. i give up food for music all the time, so food is clearly less important to me than music is.

(which isn't, of course, to say i don't eat - one look at me proves that. however, i'll live on an unvaried cheap diet if it means i can go to live music.)

sex doesn't come into the equation at all.
Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
mmmmmmmmmmmjaci
I love that thumb nail
*drool*
Agent Scully Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
that's what I opted for. :D

food>music>sex

sorry but the food is always first. ;D
Mamalissa! Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
the ">" or the job?

(I still think of it as "the alligator wants to eat the bigger one")
Rachel Beck · 21 years, 6 months ago
But the problem with seeing them as being a progression is that they're not mutually exclusive. I hope. Eat Drink Man Woman, anybody?
I think the best of all possible worlds is a sexy food movie (or real-life dinner party) with a good soundtrack.
meh Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
all i want to know is, where's the gawd damn coffee?
goovie is married! Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
i learned the concepts of "greater than" and "less than" in 1984. therefore, instead of using the alligator, our teacher used pac-man.
J. Andrew World Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
I know what I am in the mood for: Food>Sex>Music. But then here is another equation that works for me:

Ellen=Sex+Food
sheryls Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
but for you it's grilled cheese>music>sex :D

Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
Actually I got rid of both. I missed the ">" I dont miss the job at all.
Arbie Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
I used to hate when my parents said " I remember when I was younger..." and now I'm doing it way too much. I used to agree with Jaci and would eat bread and water rather than go without a new release for very long (I think Jaci and I differ as although I enjoy going to concerts they rank behind the cd's in importance). I am more practical now (or just older). I find I need to be more careful to nourish the body in order to enjoy the whole experience of life, including music. And sex, well it's not as important as I thought it was when I was 17 and not gettin' any either.
jaye Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
*blush*
Talcott Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
Mine too!
Well, it wasn't quite '84, (more like '87, 88 I think), maybe it was miss. pac-man..
Agent Scully Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
I usually use Land O Lakes Yellow American cheese

But they don't seem to have that in Canada when making a Grilled Cheese. :o

It's like going to Boston and Philly only to find out they make everything with swiss cheese. ICK!!!!

Except in Noho where the Grilled Cheese was made with White American. That's okay. :)

I don't own grilled-cheese.org and grilled-cheese.com for nothin'. ;)

someone took .net before I could grab it. The nerve! ;)

my first week of library school we had to do a search engine comparison. one of the terms we were asked to search on was "grilled cheese". i was amused :)

sex...by itself..meh...sex+music=WHHOOOOOHOO!! now, just add some dinner before or after that, and you've got yourself one heck of a night.
jaye Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
i know =) people were confused. "that's, like, someone's homepage?" and i was just really amused because i know you :D
Annika Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
Next poll, what's your favorite cheese.
Annika Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
Depends on what's for dinner. If you had sex+music+food but than had moldy food that would ruin the sex. Or if you had meat.. yuck.. or macaroni and cheese *gagging* Or those pasta shells *runs to the bathroom to vomit*. My point is it's not all about sex+music+food It's about sex+music+good food. Which is the wrong order anyhow! It should be music+sex+good food.
Agent Scully Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
Land O Lakes Yellow American. :)
Agent Scully Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
That's too funny! Now that's a small world! :D

I voted for the second... it was that or the first... cause sometimes music can, well, ya know, totally satisfy me ::grin::

mindy
no one Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
It's about music+sex+good food? Oh, how I envy you! Your point suggests to me that you have experienced horrible food, but never encountered similarly undesirable sex and music. PLEEEASE SEND SECRET OF YOUR PHENOMENAL SUCCESS.

On the other hand, I may have misunderstood. In that case, you may as well append "good" to all three, or better still, let "good" be presumed and leave it out altogether. :)
nate... Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
no, cheese.
Not "cheese food product".
A girl named Becca Back · 21 years, 6 months ago
