Musical Tattoos

Tom Clark said this in his newsletter.

Leo has been on the road for over a month spinnin' the knobs for the Ben Folds/Tori Amos tour....I just know he's gonna come back with tattoo's and piercings.....now, I love Ben, but what would his fans get as tattoo's?? "Calculus Rules!!", "Fight the power, Burn Your Library Card!!"???!!

I loved it. So What tattos would fans of other bands have?

The tattoo I plan to get is Beatles-related. I want to get a green apple.

In contrast, I wonder how many Ani DiFranco tattoos there are out there.� You know, so everyone can be an individual. :)

i also really like ben fans...like jaci, i've met some fun ones while in line. but no tattoos that i know of.

i have heard of a nickel creek fan getting the this side girl logo as a tattoo. which might be kind of cute.

For some reason, I keep seeing Social Distortion tattoos... I know, not a band I ever thought I'd bring to FHDC.� While their fans are usually tattooed, it's surprising that people are using the logos from the Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell sleeve as their artwork.� I had a friend with the drinking skeleton (she said that a lot of people comment on it, but very few know where it's from) and I saw another person with the jumping Mike Ness from the front cover.�

Mostly, I'm impressed with the quality of the artwork and the punk rock girls who are brave enough to wear it.�

Not at all band-related, but sometime late this summer or early this fall, I'm getting a bass clef on the back of my neck.�� Musical, non?

a family friend's daughter is 18 and has the Aerosmith logo on her lower back, without the "A" in the center.� She went to one of their concerts last weekend and I thought it was a step lower than wearing a shirt of the band you're going to see.

It's pretty though...dunno if it's done in pink or black.
