Every summer, Portland has free concerts on Thursdays from 5-7:30. Great Big Sea will be playing on July 22, which just happens to be the week my wife and I will be vacationing in Augusta! (Alas, we'll be missing the free They Might Be Giants show the next week.) The entire schedule is here: http://www.portlandmaine.com/events.html

Wow, yet another TMBG free show! I just saw them do a free show in Baltimore yesterday, and it was a major hoot. They're doing other free shows, but I know you won't be able to make any of them. TMBG in DC on July 24, Portland, ME July 29, and Brooklyn on July 30th.

The GBS free show is actually the weekend of Falcon Ridge too. I would have gone to TMBG in DC for that show, but Falcon Ridge takes priority.
