i have nothing to say. hooray underwear.
dirty life & times Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
as much as i am pro-nudity, i cannot comfortably go without underpants for more than a few hours at a time. it's not a modesty thing. that is all i will add.
been a long time · 17 years, 4 months ago
I like my underwear.. the waistband looks cute peeking out the top of my jeans!
K-Lyn Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
oh the temptation to wedgie!

Pull up your pants! :)
Michael (foof) Maki · 17 years, 4 months ago
.oO I just made you say underwear Oo.
hkath Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
Hee! That's exactly what I do, although I guess most people don't. I was on the phone with my mom the other day after work, and my landlady knocked on my door, and I exclaimed loud enough for both of them to hear, "Oops! Someone's at the door and I have no pants on!" I got a strange look from the landlady after I scrambled for clothes and opened the door :)
Andrea Krause Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
I do it too. Once I get home, unless I have to take the garbage out or something, my pants come right off.  I'll usually strip down to undies and a tank top when just around the house.

oh baby ;)

I can go one better. If I'm home and either alone or safely closed up in my bedroom, I'm totally nekkid.

Tee-hee! That reminds me of a joke: Q. What do old men wear: boxers or briefs? A. Depends. Hahahahahahaha... sorry, got a little carried away there.

hkath · 17 years, 4 months ago
Shouldn't that be "I keep it in my drum?" :D
Melinda J. Beasi · 17 years, 4 months ago
I can't believe I'm answering this poll.

I really only wear it if I have to leave the house, actually. I find it uncomfortable. If it were comfortable to go without while wearing work clothes or jeans, I wouldn't wear it during the day either.
Ligeia Lester Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
I find that undies under pants is absolutely necessary. but no undies under a dress (if the skirt is long enough!) is fine, if not downright delicious.
A.J. Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
Ok, I think you now have the attention of 99 % of the guys and several of the women.
ellen, formerly evil Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
goodness. I have a particular friend who spent the better part of a year never wearing underwear, whether under a skirt or pants.

"we're gung-ho for commando!"
renita Back · 17 years, 4 months ago

though i remember the day she brought her new flippy skirt to dancing... but forgot to pack the underwear, and ended up having to dance in pants afterall.
A.J. · 17 years, 4 months ago
I'd prefer to not wear them to bed, but with the kids and all, a little modesty is in order. :(
sheryls · 17 years, 4 months ago
i cant sleep in underwear. i wake up with permawedge.

Andrea Krause Back · 17 years, 4 months ago

underwear is pretty much all I sleep in. I can very rarely stand to have a shirt or anything else on. (Unless I'm going to be around non-Paul people.)

But I prefer to sleep completely nekkid when I've done my bath/shower before bed. Cleanness and sheets are a yummy thing. :)

Beth Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
I sleep in just about everything I've been wearing all day. Undies, jeans, shirt, and oftentimes socks and a bra, too. I've been told that it sounds horrendously uncomfortable, but it's always been fine with me.
goovie is married! · 17 years, 4 months ago
is that i once wrote a musical called "underwear!"

the title song was to the tune of "over there."

spread the word!
it's absurd!

thankfully, that's all i remember.

hey, look. a bunny.

Women especially should think about being underpants-less at night, even if just for the health reasons alone. It's good for you!
Starfox Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
And it's good for those who sleep in the same bed as you! :)
Ligeia Lester · 17 years, 4 months ago
well, I can't participate in this poll, cause Im not an "always" person, and Im not a "never" person... and I'm not a "just during the day" person either... I'm more of a "almost always at night, but sometimes yes, sometimes no during the day" type.

so. that's me. more than you ever wanted to know about me, probably!
stealthlori · 17 years, 4 months ago

underpants yes, all the time.

however, i loathe and abhor bras, and tend to wear one only outside the house.

and in summer, i tend to go braless indoors or out, unless coerced into a dress-up occasion.

Rimbo Back · 17 years, 4 months ago

Yeah, I don't wear bras either.

And if I'm wearing underwear in the sack, I won't be sleeping.  I sleep as I came into this world.

Magical Bob Back · 17 years, 4 months ago

I don't wear them either.  Then again, that's because I'm a boy.  Kinda awkward to wear one if you are a guy, I would guess.  I don't really want to try either.

-The Non-Crossdressing, Ever Magical Bob

Bender Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
I can't go braless in the summer.  The under-boob sweat just gets so meh.  Feels terrible.
100% dainty! · 17 years, 4 months ago
I am one of the three people (so far) who answered never! This is just a recent development, and there are some occasions when underwear is needed. (like in professional situations, or to attach pads to) But I've gotten so used to going underwearless that when I do wear it I'm like 'eeew, this is so uncomfortable." no bras either, because i don't need them (::sings that Deirdre Flint song::)
It's really convenient too because you dont' have to do laundry nearly as much!

If I DID wear underwear, i would totally keep it in my drumcase. ;)
goovie is married! Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
i don't really need a bra, either, and i actually stopped wearing bras for most of high school. but i like the way my boobies look when they're all shaped and supported, and i like to think that the support now will keep them from being too droopy when i get older, but i'm probably fooling myself.
100% dainty! Back · 17 years, 4 months ago

hmmm. . . dont know about that. . if you ever have kids, your boobs will probably end up getting all droopy no matter how many bras you wear.

A.J. Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
Not that I would know, I suppose, but I think that mostly has to do with what size you are to begin with.

Yes, AJ will take any excuse to talk about boobs. :)
Bender Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
my boobies are scaring me.  they're...  *doing* things.
soul groove feline · 17 years, 4 months ago
i don't wear bras. it feels like wearing a girdle or a post of wood on top of your boobies. or something.

as for underwear, i don't wear them around the house, nor when i can avoid them. sometimes i'll wear "specialty underwear" (like my penguin thong) for my own amusement... and i wear them to school. that's pretty much it.

i really feel most comfortable totally skyclad... which is how i generally dwell at home when there's no parent type people home.
A.J. Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
Wow! You guys are surprising me. Maybe we should have fruvous nudist camp somewhere some summer?
Phoenix · 17 years, 4 months ago
Oh. I love underwear. Particularly underpants. When I'm home alone I usually only wear a long shirt and underpants...
renita · 17 years, 4 months ago
actually i like underpants. in fact, even here at the residence, when i'm in my room working on a paper, i'm generally in underpants and a tank top.

this was the source of near-embarassment when my roommates serenaded me with the birthday song. luckily they started singing at the other end of the hallway so i had abot 10 seconds to pull on clothes. *phew*

I, however, am a particular fan of granny panties.
full bum coverage and cover my hips please. not that that's all that I wear, I have a wide assortment. but when bumming around the house, or on a crampy day... granny panties are just, comfortable.

oh. i also like to wear boy underwear. boxer briefs are one of the best things ever. yo.
Andrea Krause Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
These:  Are pretty much all I ever wear these days. They are absolutely the most comfy underwear I've ever owned. I just never realized until wearing them how much I HATE a lot of fabric on my hips.  Granny panties or even non-string bikinis just feel so constricting to me. With those int he link, I barely feel like I'm wearing anything and I adore them! :)
renita Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
they look like they'd give me a wedgie.

see with grannie-panties, there's just no opportunity for a wedgie.

plus, they show less of a panty line under my grey wool dress than any string, thong or other.
Andrea Krause Back · 17 years, 4 months ago

No wedgies! Part of why I love them. :)

I don't pay much attention to panty line issues though. :)

renita Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
i usually don't either.

it's jsut so prominant in the grey dress though.

yay for no wedgies!
dirty life & times Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
yay for the grey dress!

Sarah THE chicken · 17 years, 4 months ago
Never. Not during the day, not while sleeping. So freeing without them. Only while doing a show or under shorter skirts. Otherwise NEVER!!!
You should all try it.
danced with Lazlo · 17 years, 4 months ago
Alas, I am not comfortable without the underwear. Not even to sleep... if I sleep nude I have dreams about being nude in public and my sleep is not restful. And I really *need* to wear a bra most of the time, except to bed. Big boobies bounce when unfettered and the bouncing is painful, plus they tend to point sort of straight down. Not attractive in my opinion.

Granny panties are most comfortable since I find that almost anything else I wear does wedgie quite easily, but as I'm losing weight I am starting to wear lower-rise jeans which are not exactly compatible with the grannies... plus the grannies make me feel unattractive which I really don't need right now. Boxer-briefs are yummy. I love boys underwear... but not boxers. Feels like going commando but wearing extra pants to compensate... doesn't work for me.
A.J. Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
That is exactly how boxers feel! You have distilled my dislike for them down to a sentence. I love the way they look, but they're just so damned uncomfortable. It is like having too many and too few clothes all at the same time!

Oh, and Gella, you are hot, regardless of your underwear. Am I not right folks?
danced with Lazlo Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
PLEASE do not throw out that question... someone might answer honestly.
A.J. Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
I'm counting on it. You could use a few compliments. ;P
soul groove feline Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
Gella is as hot as a Red Savina Habanero pepper, which is the world's hottest chile pepper at 577 000 Scoville Units. Well, actually, she's as hot as pure Capsaicin ( 16 000 000 Scoville Units), but that's technically a chemical compound and not a naturally grown chile pepper, and Gella is definitely naturally grown.
renita Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
granny panties are comfortable.

comfortable IS sexy.

i feel sexier in a pair of grannies than i do in a thong, for that reason, one feels comfie and good, the other feels wrong, and not in a good way.

as for the lower-rise jeans... look around for "boy style" underpants, they have the low cute leg, usually, but because they're "cute" usually have a lower waist as well.

so yah. look around because panties with full legs and low waists do exist. good luck!

danced with Lazlo Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
i actually started looking at the Victoria's Secret website because of this thread. Scary women with sticks instead of bodies... but yeah, the boy shorts are adorable.

And I have never and probably will never wear a thong. *shudder*
renita Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
i gave it a try because many people i know claimed they were great; you just had to get used to them.

i have tried them and given them more than a fair shot... they are not for me.
A.J. Back · 17 years, 4 months ago
I really don't like the look of thongs. I don't know why they are supposed to be sexy. They seem stupid, because there is so little of them that I always wonder why wear underwear at all. I know some of the women here swear by them, and I guess what you like is what you should wear, and that is why there are so many styles, but count me in for the boy-style underware is cute faction.
sheryls Back · 17 years, 4 months ago

i own one thong, and it serves one purpose: not showing panty lines in tight pants.

other than that, it is uncomfortable, permanent-wedged BUTT FLOSS.

Boyshorts, however, are teh cute and comfy.
