Random Thoughts 3

   Discussion: Random Thoughts 3

There is a new inverted Reese cup. The outside is peanut butter and the inside is chocolate. What will they think of next?
Andrea Krause Back · 20 years, 9 months ago

That scares me. Because I don't know what consistency the peanut butter outside is. And is it peanut butter, or something grody like peanut butter flavored white chocolate? Really scary. I see them in the store and I get the willies.

Nik Chaikin Back · 20 years, 9 months ago
i had one, not bad, no idea what the peanut butter is.

Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 20 years, 9 months ago
It really is quite good. I don't know what the pb is though.
sheryls Back · 20 years, 9 months ago

neither do i, but admittedly, i like this peanut butter better.

the pb in the original cups is always very heavy, greasy, and grainy. now this is smooth pb on the outside, and smooth chocolate on the inside :D

my take is that anything with chocolate and peanut butter is good.

Inverted Twinkies?
Bruce Rose Back · 20 years, 8 months ago

Little Debbie makes an Angel Food twinkie-type cake with raspberry filling. Not raspberry flavored whippy creme, more of a thickened raspberry jelly. If you can get past how wrong the white, jelly filled twinkie looks, it's actually pretty good. Not as sweet as Hostess.

Is it wrong? Yes. Is it bad? No.

There are inside-out Oreos now. White on the outside, chocolate on the inside.

Now that's just wrong.

Nik Chaikin Back · 20 years, 8 months ago
i agree, it's like putting a rolls royce through an aoutomatic car wash, it's just that wrong.
stealthlori Back · 20 years, 8 months ago
and they don't taste good either. The white cookie is bland, and the "chocolate" creme isn't chocolaty.

I'm not sure about the Oreos with PB flavored creme. Something weird about that too.

IMHO, Oreo creme isn't supposed to have a real flavor. It's just sugary and thick and vaguely creamy -- a nice counterpoint to the dark chocolate cookie part. And that's all it ever should be. So there.
Gordondon son of Ethelred Back · 20 years, 8 months ago
The oreos with PB and chocolate cream are wonderful. I'll have to try dunking them in coffee and thus combine the three basic food groups, chocolate, peanut butter, and coffee. My friend disagrees, he thinks the basic groups are dark chocolate and milk chocolate.
Mamalissa! Back · 20 years, 8 months ago
I thought the basic food groups were pasta, frozen juice concentrate, and ibuprofen. Or maybe that was just college.
goovie is married! Back · 20 years, 8 months ago
my college basic food groups were ramen, ice cream, and hot chocolate. hooray for the freshman 15.

Nick Collins · 20 years, 8 months ago

ok, this has been bothering me, well not really bothering me, but this has been on my mind.

Ok, so Jesus can walk on water, but what if someone in a rowboat came up behind himand smacked him in the back with an oar. Would he fall and bounce back up or what?

Andrea Krause Back · 20 years, 8 months ago
One would think he would be divine enough to see the guy with the oar coming and avoid him. :)
Nick Collins · 20 years, 8 months ago

Divine reflexes?

danced with Lazlo Back · 20 years, 8 months ago
imagine Matrix Jesus. Dodges oars like Neo dodges bullets.
Nick Collins · 20 years, 8 months ago
quite intruiging, I may have to write a song about this
danced with Lazlo Back · 20 years, 8 months ago

I really think that frosting on a cake is just too much. The cake is already sweet, why add even more sweetness? I hate frosted cake. Unless I have forgotten to eat for a couple days than I reeeally want it..
Bender Back · 20 years, 8 months ago

stealthlori Back · 20 years, 7 months ago

*forget to eat for a couple of days*?!?!?!

wow ... 6 hours is about my max. if only.

Annika Back · 20 years, 7 months ago

I get a bit absorbed in things, reading, working, writing, what-have-you, and I will forget about things like eating, or sleeping. It's okay though I have extra fat, and no-doz. : )
