Lower Camp '04

Figured we should start planning things. When are folks arriving? I'll be there either wednesday afternoon or thursday morning (haven't decided yet.) and will once again be bringing my monster of a tent. :)

Think Emilie and I will be at lower camp this year too and will be arriving when you get there;) All sounds really nice. We have our own tent though (and it isn't a monster!)

Last year I visited lower camp at least once a day.  Hopefully I'll see you two Brits!

Actually, now I must post in this thread.  Due to circumstances beyond our control and out of convenience, Jenna and I shall be camping in lower camp this year.

It seems so odd that FRFF is looming. We haven't even bought tickets yet, but we're planning on going. For some reason it all just seems so unreal.

Anyway We'll be in lower camp again, because
1. It is the place to be, and
2. It is a lot eaiser with the kids.

as spokesman for Klan (Josupeit-)Kunz, here's our plan: we should be arriving weds afternoon-ish. we will once more have 2 (large but not monstrous) tents, and hopefully 3 campers, barring any more freak onsets of pneumonia. papa will once again be bringing eggs and pancake mix for breakfast, available to any/all of our campers that want them. we'll also be bringing at least two chairs for each of us, as chair space always seems to be at a premium 'round the camp.

is anita coming? and will she be bringing that fabulous green camping fly of hers again? that thing rocked. :D

alas...Anita will not be coming to FRFF this year and I will miss her. :(

I am not entirely sure, but I think Anita gave that large "lobby" to Shelly to set up.  I WILL be seeing Anita the following weekend for They Might Be Giants out in Long Island.  * squee *

I shall make time to spend at Downstairs Camp Fruvous. :-)

so...no...anita's not coming and, thus, her cousin doesn't feel comfortable letting us use the dining fly.....

SEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.   we're purchasing a 16 x 16 hexagon{which actually allows us more square feet than last year's } so that we'll always have it coz we felt the other one rocked, so we're pulling resources to get it.  so, officially, 'the lobby' will be born.  ;)

i'm going up {this}saturday morning, have the list{basically} of when everyone is ariving, tent sizes, and cars.  all told, we thus far have 19 tents, not including 'the lobby', dad's 2 dining canopies, aj's, or any others that people may bring.  a pretty impressive camp again, methinks.

oh! and of COURSE the flagpole and 'patch' flag  ;)

i'm pre-doing waffles{3 kinds!!!} again and i'm sure more fun will be in store.

and if i think of anything else, i'll letcha know. or  vice versa, but fruming me or emailing me is bestest coz i'm trying to get everything together and can't, like actively check every forum.  thanks  ;)

...and THAT made me laugh WAY more than it should have.  hee.  i'm still giggling.

So Pauley and I will be arriving Thursday. He in the afternoon, and me a little bit later in the early evening.

And we are lower-camp (hence the post to this thread, and not the other ;) I'm hoping for a nice little spot for my 8x8.

I'll be coming on Wednesday with my friend Miriam. I think we'll be setting up our own camp but we'll be by to visit very often!!!
